Mayor Chu applauds outstanding moms for adopting homeless children
New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu visits Mrs. Jen in Tuchen District for praising her selfless love and wishing every mom a very happy Mother’s Day.
Chu firstly says hi to Xiohua and Keikei, two of the adopted children, where the former plays flute and the latter shows his paintings to the mayor. They also play basketball together to show their talents.
According to Bureau of Social Service, Mrs. Jen and Mr. Chen have two children; the older one goes to college and the other one is a vocational high school student. They are all very happy for the service that the city government provides.
A ceremony is also expected on April 29th on the 6th floor of New Taipei City Hall to praise those outstanding mothers for their hard work and contributions.
