New Taipei City Mayor Chu strives for better food quality
New Taipei City Council plans to investigate the current price rise along with Health Bureau to make sure the food safety and standards are both qualified before they are in the market. New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu also supports this proposal and hopes everyone in the city can do their jobs well.
Regarding the food safety issues, Mayor Chu also adds that a monthly meeting is held along with random examination in both winter and summer respectively. Some other venues include campus and shops which are also part of this campaign, tracing the roots of the resource in case something is found polluted.
Other issues such as increasing more positions for public servants in the future, Mayor Chu promises he will examine the proposal and make sure everyone is taken care of properly.
