2013 New Years countdown in Taipei
President Ma Ying-jeou, New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu, Taipei City Mayor Hau Lung-pin, Taipei City Council Speaker Chen Xing-jin and Wu Bi-zhu all joined the 2013 Taipei New Year’s Eve Countdown Party on December 31, 2012.
Ma indicated that the economic issue was getting better in this past three month, and he believed it will be much better in 2013. The fireworks on Taipei 101 had started after the countdown.
It was the first time that celebrity Aaron Kwok joined the countdown in Taiwan. He expected everyone to leave the unhappiness behind 2012, and happily welcome the upcoming New Year. In addition, Kwok amazed the audience by his super hot dance moves.
Celebrity Patty Hou and Plungon were joined to host the countdown, along with pop singers such as, Amit, Aaron Kwok, Jeannie Hsieh, Harlem Yu, Shin and A-lin.
