The art exhibition for Yang Sang-lang is on Beauty Forever Living Art Center

 The art of the famous Taiwanese artists Yang Sang-lang and his wife Yang-Xu Yu-yan would be exhibits on the second floor of the Beauty Forever Living Art Center from January 12 to March 18.

New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu said that the paintings by the Yang couple could be a great influence for the art lovers, and he encouraged the citizens to come and watch the exhibition.

The documentary which filmed by Mr. Yang""s grandson Yang Qi-ming described how Yang couple dedicated their life on the painting career, and how they show their love and traveling stories through their paintings.

Yang Qi-ming indicated that the art center was reopened and renovated, and several new areas were also added to the center, such as coffee, heritage and painting areas.

The exhibition displayed 18 oil paintings by Mr. Yang and 28 oil paintings by Mrs. Yang-Xu.

Mr. Yang was born in 1907, in today""s New Taipei Yonghe District. Yang was very into drawings on he""s early childhood. He went to Japan to study painting all by himself when he was 17, then he went to France for advanced studies, so he""s works were influence by the French impressionist. In he""s late years, Yang and his wife traveled around the world, and show high enthusiasm on outdoor sketching.

In addition, several workshops will be open in Beauty Forever Living Art Center, such as Hand-made Charm Workshop from January 19 to 27 and Couples Daitoutie Badge Workshop from February 16 to 17. The workshops were free, and each workshop was limited on the number of 20 people, from 2pm to 4pm.
