Chu heads to the Veterans Home for early Chinese New Year

 New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu arrived at Sanxia Veterans Home for the early Chinese New Year on February 2.

Chu said that he appreciated the dedication of the veterans, and he was glad to see all the veterans were healthy.

Chu shook hands with the veterans, and then gifted them with NT$50,000 and six boxes of apples for early Chinese New Year. Chu blessed the veterans with peace and harmony in the upcoming New Year.

In addition, city councilors Wang Mingli, and Huang Yongchang, District Executive of Sanxia District Yang Meifeng, and Director of Civil Affairs Department Jiang Jun-ting along with Mayor Chu headed to the Sanxia Hang Xiu Kong and Fuyan Zushi Temple to burn incense for peace and good luck.
