The construction of Sanying Bridge will begin at the end of the year

New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu indicated that the construction of Sanying Bridge will begin at the end of the year during the city conference meeting on May 7. The construction would effectively resolve the traffic issues around Sanxia District and Yingge District. Sanxia and Yingge districts also wanted to build a ramp for the bridge, but for the water line rules, NTPC government hoped the two districts could explain the construction plan in detail to the Transportation Department.

Chu indicated that the ramp of the Sanying Bridge would violate the water line rules, and the Executives of the Districts could explain to the citizens, in order to avoid some misunderstandings.

After the report from Sanxia District Executive, Chu noted that Sanxia has the second largest land area in NTPC, and it is important to promote a balance development of Sanxia District.

In addition, Chu instructed the Tourism and Travel Department and Transportation Department to promote Sanying’s tourism, including integrating the Sanxia Old Street and Yingge Ceramics Museum.
