2013 Gongliao Ho-hai-yan Rock Festival is coming
The 14th Gongliao Rock Festival will be hit on July 10 to 14. New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu showed up at the opening press conference and emphasized that the rock festival was the place where people build their dreams, and he encouraged the young people to participate this rock event.
Today’s press conference started with the micro-film “After Random”, which was the documentary short film of a band called "Random". Each members of the band had totally different jobs in life, such as make breakfast, engineer, and sell clothes; Nevertheless, they did not gave up the opportunity to complete their dream.
Chu announced the top 10 bands which won the price for the chance to perform at the Rock Festival; Chu also declared that the popular band “Mayday” and “Sodagreen” will both performing at the Rock Festival on the first day and the last.
NTPC Tourism and Travel Department noted that this year’s Rock Festival turned the five days event into five different themes, making it a more diverse festival; bands from several countries including Russia, America, Australia, and Japan had gathered together and ready to rock on the stage, and we can also see some famous Taiwanese bands such as Wonfu, Chairman, and Echo’s performance.
In addition, the followings are the top 10 bands who won the chance to perform at the festival on July 13: TRASH, TuT, P!SCO, FLUX, Alt QQ Dog, Chiu & Love, Lin Shao-Wei & Mischief, Nuka, White Collar Folk, and Sugar Lady.
