Parking lot opens on Longmi Street to alleviate Bali traffic

 Touring Bali Zuoan is now more convenient than ever. To relieve the holiday tourist crowds and parking demand, New Taipei City Transportation Department finished construction on a open-area parking lot on Section 2, Number 150, Longmi Road of Bali District. The parking lot will begin operation on the 13th of this moth. Mayor Chu Liluan attended the opening to share in the good news.

Chu said that providing convenient transportation and excellent parking service invites more tourists to Bali for sightseeing. The parking lot is equipped with showers, emergency AED, priority parking for non-pregnant and pregnant women, and surveillance systems. With the lot, the city aims to facilitate a variety of parking services to meet local needs and to improve local traffic.

Department of Transportation said that to alleviate traffic, utilize the land, create local employment, investment, and other benefits, the department coordinated with the National Property Administration of the Ministry of Finance in allocating vacant property and constructing the Longmi Parking Lot to provide a better visit experience for the public.

 

Transportation Department said that the Longmi Parking Lot offers 168 sedan-sized parking spaces and 30 motorcycle spaces. Operation will begin on February 15th; the parking fee for automobiles is NT$30 per hour or NT$90 per use; motorcycle fee is NT$10 per use; monthly parking fee for automobiles is at most NT$3000. The operators will provide many promotions and services; the public is encouraged to make use of this convenience.
