Mayor Zhu brings red envelopes to New Taipei City Hospital
Lunar New Year is approaching, New Taipei City Mayor Chu visited the Sanchong and Banqiao branches of the New Taipei City Hospital today (2/18) to boost the spirit of the on-duty medical teams. He also presented red envelopes to the staff and patients within the hospital.
Mayor Chu thanked the police department, fire department, traffic, hospital, and other public agencies for working through the holidays. He also asked everyone to remember these on-duty staff as everyone celebrate the coming of the new year. The mayor wished everyone a happy new year, good health, and peace.
Mayor Chu visited each hospitals floor-by-floor and brought red envelopes to the on-duty staff, patients, and seniors in the senior care center; even if they cannot make it home, the mayor wanted these groups to experience the warmth and spirit of the holiday.
