“Love in Painting” painting exhibition is now held at New Taipei City Government

“Love in Painting” painting exhibition is now held at Gallery, New Taipei City Government building (3F)

 

The 14th New Taipei City “Love in Painting” painting exhibition, showcasing 118 paintings by disabled, will be held at New Taipei City Government Art Gallery from Dec. 9th to 18th. Mayor Eric Chu presented awards to contest winners today (12/09).


Mayor Chu said he is moved by the creativity and effort on the art works by the disabled artists. He also phrased that “Love in Painting” is a great art exhibition and he is very proud that they are never deterred by their own physical disabilities and limitations.


May Chu emphasized that events like painting exhibition can help many disabled people to get through their depressions and provide opportunities for them to express their creativities and thoughts.


The Social Welfare Department announced that after the exhibition at New Taipei City Government Art Gallery ends, 118 outstanding works chosen from all 499 works will later be exhibited at Taipei Hospital, FE21’ department store, Taipei Metro Jiangzicui Station and National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall.
