52 stores selling the best Chinese herbal fondue in New Taipei City
From the experience of Golden Horse Award winner Andy Lau’s wife got pregnant by eating Chinese herbal medicine costing $500NTD, and an old woman got a baby girl by having mutton fondue for a long time, New Taipei City Hall has decided to hang out Chinese herbal soup for roughly 1,000 workers and citizens for free.
Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu also tasted himself and said it’s delicious. He also added that having Chinese herbal soup in winter is part of the Chinese traditional at this time because of its nutritional value. There are 52 stores picked by New Taipei City Hall to be the best among all.
Mayor Chu said having Chinese herbal soup can also be one of the ways to get rid of summer heat such as the famous herbal tea and bitter herbal tea.
52 stores stood out from the review along with several surveys before they got their names listed on New Taipei City Hall’s website for reference. Everyone is encouraged to “take a sip”.
Director of Economic and Development Jen Juitin said that other delicacies are also included this time such as ginger duck fondue, mutton fondue, healthy geese fondue, Chinese herbal chicken soup, vegetarian herbal fondue and so on… are all winners this time with the first class quality.
