Mother plays an essential role in our lives
New Taipei City Mayor Chu praises 10 students publicly for their love and gratitude toward their mothers before Mother’s Day. Together with Family and Education Center of New Taipei City Government, this event was designed to encourage students to write what they want to say to their moms before the holiday,
Mayor Chu also adds that family is the basis for everything, and mothers indeed play an important role in children’s lives because they are their most valuable God-sent present. As a result, it is hoped that more children can use words to show their appreciation for their mothers before this Mother’s Day.
Chu also says that mother never retires so they should all deserve our love. This ceremony ends with Chu writes “wish every mother a happy, healthy, and peaceful Mother’s Day.”
