Mayor Chu goes to Delin to wish everyone a happy holiday
New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu goes to Delin Institute of Technology with Chief Wang of Legislature and Executive Wu of Ministry of Education to attend the wishing ceremony before Mother’s Day to wish every mom out there a happy and healthy holiday.
Mayor Chu says that he’s glad to be part of this event and hopes it can bring more hope and warmth to the society eventually. He also admires people who choose to be vegetarians and reduce the amount of garbage in order to be more environmentally friendly.
This event is aimed at helping more people suffering earthquake and flood, where Chief Wang of Legislature adds in the ceremony that even though life is limited, strength is the other way around. It is hoped that more people can feel the warmth this time.
Mayor Chu also reminds everyone to wish their mothers a Happy Mother’s Day and say “mom, I love you” in this lovely May.
