New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu wishes everyone a healthier and happier life
New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu attends the 29th anniversary of Linyuan Mountain’s Peace and Happiness event in which he represents four million citizens in New Taipei City to pray for their happiness and health in the future.
Mayor Chu also says that it’s been raining for a while in the past few weeks so he prays for a more stable weather pattern from now on.
He also adds that he’s been an avid participant of Linyuan Mountain’s event for a while when he was still a mayor of Taoyuan County several years ago, and now he strongly encourages people to visit the World Religion Museum located in Yuanhe District, New Taipei City.
Concerning the recent rain and flooding issues, Mayor Chu suggests a newer “green architecture” for its water absorbing features and flood prevention mechanism.
