New groups of taxis launched for tourists in Refen

In order to celebrate Refen being chosen as one of the top ten places for tourists this year, New Taipei City Mayor Chu witnesses and inaugurates the first groups of taxis designed for tourists in front of Refen Rail Station with other city councilmen, who are pleased to see more revenues and job opportunities as more tourists flock to the area.

Mayor Chu also expresses that Refen boasts its gracious mountains, sea, and historical artifacts that are culturally distinctive. Other assets awaiting reconstruction for tourism include Shunan Cave, Genguashi, Juafen, Golden Museum, Rebin Port, and Refen Old Street.

It is also worth noting that several tour guides are available on the spot when passengers are on board for more insiders’ news. Please go to Familymart for more information.

For those who want to try another tour, Tourism Bureau has also launched a new group of taxis which can be accessed at Refen Rail Station that takes you to the place of your choice in just one day.

This year’s festival consists of Chinese Lion Dance and several local activities, which have been received positively by local and foreign visitors with great enthusiasm.
