Northern Taiwan Office was set up for regional development
Vice president Wu Deh-yih, New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu, Taipei City Mayor Hau Lung-pin and Taoyuan County Mayor Wu Chih-yang attended the 2012 City Achievement Exhibition Conference held by the Committee for Regional Development in Northern Taiwan on December 21. Several arrangements had been made during the conference, including setting up the Northern Taiwan Office, which helps develop the economy in northern Taiwan and operate the traffic project. In addition, the cities must coordinate with the central government for more resources to improve their competitive strength around the world.
