Mayor Chu participates in the Anti-Drug Concert

 Vice President Wu Dun-yi and New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu participated in The Anti-Drug Concert held on the 3rd floor of New Taipei City Hall at 3pm on January 19.

Vice President Wu said that the concert was held against the drug-abusing problem, which had become a huge issue in Taiwan.

Chu indicated that the drugs population is getting younger and younger, and protecting the youth from drugs had become a big challenge for the City Government. He hoped that the assistance from schools, social workers and the health care system could help the teenagers get away from drugs.

The Anti-Drug Concert was held by Ministry of Justice, Education Department and WTCC, and the concert had not only invited several pop singers, such as Magic Power, Yen-j and Dream Girls, but also set up some vendors for the teenagers to realize the right attitude against drugs.

In addition, Vice President Wu, Mayor Chu, Vice President of the Legislative Yuan Hong Xiu-zhu, etc., had leads the young students to say the no "to drugs" slogan.
