TSMC shares the green strategy at Taipei 101

 New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu attended the new books release event of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) at Taipei 101 international conference center on February 6. The books were about green environment and green energy, and Chu appreciated the innovation in the green energy by the TSMC.

Chu wish the citizens could well-implemented the recycling and waste reduction. He also indicated that one or two incinerators will be closed due to the green plans, and the citizens should pay more attention on the water shortage and power saving.

The new book release event was held at Taipei 101, which is known as the tallest green building in the world. Chairman of the board, TSMC, Morris Chang attended the event along with his wife Mrs. Zhang. Chang indicated that our environment had been damaged by the Global Warming. From 2006, the TSMC had great experience in developing the green projects, and he loves to share these experiences through the books to the citizens, hoping that everyone could make a contribution to the earth.


""The Green Power of TSMC’ is a book about using 21 key strategies to build a sustainable management industry, and ‘The Green Action of TSMC’ is a book about sharing the experiences and technics of TSMC green buildings and green factory.

After these two books got sent to the libraries and colleges in Taiwan, the citizens may gain some knowledge of the green strategy.
