Mayor Chu presents letters of appointment to the legal advisers

 New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu presented the letters of appointment to a number of legal advisers at the City Hall on February 22. Their work content is to serve as the NTPC legal advisor for two years, and to provide legal advices for citizens.

Chu indicated that as the most populous Administrative Region of the nation, the New Taipei City Government has more citizens who need legal services and advices. Citizens who have legal issues could go to the nearby districts for professional advices.

Chu emphasized that being a successful government was not only to facilitate the cooperation between departments, districts and the central government, but also to make the citizens support the policies from the government. For example, the establishment of the daycare center in NTPC was well-developed because of the dedication from numerous childcare institutions, associations and schools.

NTPC Joint Service Center would provide legal services during weekdays. In addition, NTPC had hired 95 lawyers in 16 legal service sections, and 11 remote areas had set up video services to provide legal consultation.
