Mayor Chu at the Graduation Ceremony of Songnian University
New Taipei City Mayor, Liluan Chu, in the identity of Songnian University (Songnian University literately means university for seniors) principal, attended to the 13th graduation ceremony of Songnian University and awarded certificates, and took pictures with the graduates. I am honored to be the representative to accept Mayor's praise, said Huang Chengjia, the representative of PH.D class. Mayor Chu was joking around saying that“it is hard to have perfect attendance, and you might have studied harder than your own grandsons.”
There are a total of thirty-one classes of a total of eight-hundred and eighty-five graduates at the 13th graduation ceremony. The other representative from the master class, Zhuang Zhaozhi is presently eighty-five years old, the eldest graduate today. She said “during the studying in Songnian University, she registered a six-year term Japanese class and a Skill of singing class, and it has been three years so far, for this meanwhile, she made lots of friends, everyone was really taking a good care of her.” In ceremony, she actually had to sing a song for everyone, but she was too nervous to finish the whole song.
There are a total of 7626 people, 288 of them received the prize of spirit, and there is a high number of 3344 received the prize for perfect attendance.
