NTPC Mayor Eric Chu visiting Tucheng Industrial Area
New Taipei City Mayor Eric Chu visited the Apex Corporation and Value Corporation at Tucheng Industrial Area on April 18. Apex was the company which produced the medical equipment, while Value was the manufacturer of the gate valve. Chu indicated that the government must understand the corporations’ needs, and then established some favorable policies for the corporations.
The Apex, the head manufacturer of medical equipments in the nation, has been using the pneumatic tools as their main techniques on each of its products. Apex had research and develops a smart bed, installing the pneumatic tools, electronic monitoring system, and alarm system, which makes it comfortable enough for the elderly and the burns patients. Moreover, the smart bed had also received a certification by the European and American medical profession.
Value Corporation is a famous gate valve manufacturer in Asia. Their products had been used in many kinds of industry, including shipbuilding, petrifaction, and power plant. Value Corporation’s Chairman of the board Yang Dazhong hoped that the government could provide more offers on land use, in order to deal with the insufficient factories.
In addition, Chu encouraged the corporations to keep the industry businesses in Taiwan, and hope to promote a better local-development. In 2013, NTPC government had developed a program to cooperate with the local industry, and the plan can not only expands the overseas markets of the companies, but also bring better development to industries in NTPC’s.
Economic Development Department added that the government will also take the advices from these corporations, in order to formulate a better policy.
