The road renovations will be under a serious review
New Taipei City (NTPC) Mayor Eric Chu rewarded the citizens for their dedication on reporting several road problems, such as potholes, dangerous manhole cover, and other traffic signs errors.
Chu indicated that the road renovation would bring uneven road for the traffic, and the 2-year Road Even Project which promoted by the city government will be facing to deal with these problems in each districts. In addition, Chu pointed out that the Water Resources Department must thoroughly review their efficiency and coordination on the groundwater project, which had started in a year and a half ago at Provincial Highway 2, but started the re-excavation of the roads during this May.
Chu also instructed the Transportation Department to seriously review the bus delays issues, and he hoped that the department could random check on the bus arrival time and makes it more accurate.
