The Traffic Warning Tickets is launching on Facebook

You might recognize all the traffic rules, but did you follow them well?

New Taipei City Information Department held an event on June 4 to July 3; in order to give the “tickets” to the citizens who break the traffic rules.

According to the research, 90% of the traffic incidents were caused by human factors, so that it’s the government’s responsibility to work hard on promoting the Traffic Warning Ticket to all the citizens, hoping to help them fully understand the importance of safety driving and roads rights.

Director-general of NTPC Information Department, Lin Jieyou indicated that the warning ticket was an idea to persuade the citizens from breaking the traffic rules, instead of punishing them at the first place. The warning ticket will be promoted on My New Taipei City Facebook page, hoping this web event can give your friends a heads up.

Several warning options was shown in the categories, including: do not use cellphone while driving, no drunk driving, respect the elders, fasten your seatbelts in the backseat, and give way to pedestrians. If one of your friends breaks the above rules repeatedly, please send him/her a warning ticket on Facebook.

Information Department also provide several prizes for sending the warning tickets, such as Full HD Driving Recorder, and EMC safety seats etc., and the more tickets you send, the more chance you will win the prize.
