“The Top Sales Awards” of the Salesman
The New Taipei City Mayor Chu Lilun attended the awarding ceremony of “The Top Sales Awards 2011”established by Business Weekly in The Regent Taipei on Aug. 8th. He said “under the stress of emerging Six-Industry, the ability to manage, to learn, and to execute of the super salesmen is what government needs to study the most.”
Mayor Chu pointed out that, “it is very valuable to obtain the Golden prize of “The Top Sales Awards”, especially under the very competitive market. Therefore, our government should take lessons from the prize winners who are truly the great models. That is also the reason why he is here today; he is here to learn.”
Mayor Chu was asked to award the “popularity King on Internet prize” to the winner, Zhan Shihao. “Being able to become a popularity king, he must have some sort of fascination for common people. In the short future, it is a good consideration to employ the winner as New Taipei City consultant to help our government with its promotions.
This is the fifth year of establishing “The Top Sales Awards” by Business Weekly. In order to encourage more salesmen to break through their limitation and to stay positive so the award was founded. Companies from amongst the Six-Industry- Finance, Insurance, Automotive, Real Estate, Direct Marketing and Healthcare, faced a stiff competition where candidates had to go through many trials and selection stages. The candidates should not only possess skills their area of forte, but should also be able to have high analytical capacities to deal with times of serious adversities. This year 60 business elites entered the competition, of which 15 were selected as finalists. Only one winner emerged.
Mayor Chu was invited along with Barbara Corcoran who is considered the female Donald Trump in the real estate industry in the United States, and the tops salesman of the insurance industry, Solomon Hicks were also specially invited to be the presenter in the ceremony.
