Three-way cooperation leads to a breakthrough of reducing carbon emissions
New Taipei City effectively utilized cloud technology to help businesses to conserve energy to reduce carbon emissions. The City Government, Chunghwa Telecom Company, National Science Council Low Carbon Emission Organization and Technology Energy Research Center of National Taipei University cooperatively held “Low-carbon management cloud union establishment ceremony” on 10/21/2013. Mayor Eric Chu attended the ceremony to sign the cooperation agreement. He hoped that the industry-government-academy cooperation would take both energy conservation policy and carbon emission reduction policy into effect.
